
Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of April 13 to April 17.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Camden
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue.
- PSE&G will be working on Park Boulevard on Friday, April 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a lane shift at the intersection with Kaighn Avenue.
Cherry Hill
- Crews will be working on Evesham Road on Monday April 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between Alpha Avenue & Burnt Mill Road.
- Crews will be working on Kresson Road from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday night, there will be a full road closure at the intersection with Cropwell Road. Wednesday and Thursday night, there will be a full road closure at the intersection with Springdale Road.
- PSE&G will be working on Cooper Landing Road on Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday April 15 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Pennsylvania Avenue & New York Avenue.
Collingswood
Crews will be working on Park Avenue from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure and sidewalk closures between Dill Avenue & Ogden Avenue.
Gibbsboro
- Crews will be working on Marlton Avenue on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between York Avenue & Lakeview Drive South.
- Crews will be working on United States Avenue & Foster Avenue from Monday, April 13 to Thursday, April 16, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure of United States Avenue between Lakeview Drive South & Berlin Road and a full road closure of Foster Avenue between United States Avenue & Clementon Road.
Gloucester City
Crews will be working on Nicholson Road on Thursday, April 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a full road closure between Cornell Avenue & Yale Avenue.
Gloucester Township
Crews will be working on Evesham Road from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between West Clements Bridge Road (Route 41) in Runnemede & Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township.
Hi-Nella
Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between West Merchant Street & Dowling Avenue, and a partial road closure eastbound between Chestnut Street & West Vassar Road
Pine Hill
Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between Blackwood-Clementon Road & Erial Road.
Runnemede
Crews will be working on Evesham Road from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between West Clements Bridge Road (Route 41) in Runnemede & Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township.
Voorhees Township
Crews will be working on White Horse Road from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Laurel Oak Road & Executive Drive.
Winslow Township
Crews will be working on Mays Landing Road from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Old Albertson Road & the Atlantic County Line.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
