The gymnasium was packed Saturday (February 7) as the Gloucester Catholic High School girls’ basketball team hosted cross-town rival Gloucester City High School.
There were plenty of Lady Ram and Lady Lions fans filling the stands, the bleachers and the stage as the game began, and they were loud.
The one constant throughout the game – great hustle and great defense by all the players.
The Lady Lions took the lead for the first time in the fourth quarter, but Gloucester Catholic came back strong, going up by three on two key foul shots Marisa Kinsey with less than 20 seconds left.
Erin MacAdams had one last three-point attempt to tie the score, but the ball hit short on the rim as time ran out.
