The White Horse Road Pedestrian Improvement Project is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
During this ongoing project, there will be a complete lane closure on the eastbound lane of White Horse Road between Burnt Mill Road and Haddonfield-Berlin Road (Route 561) to perform concrete work. Please allow extra travel time and follow detour routes.
(Camden, NJ) – The Board of Commissioners celebrated the grand opening of the Camden County Department of Corrections Reentry Release Center. The newly renovated facility will work to reduce structural barriers for individuals leaving the Camden County Correctional Facility (CCCF) by working with peer specialists to help individuals pave a smooth transition back to their community. At one time, the correctional facility had more than double the number of residents that it currently houses today. As a result of these innovative initiatives, the jail population has been reduced by almost 60%.

Hidden in Plain Sight: Understanding a Rare Heart Condition
Amyloidosis is a rare disease that occurs when abnormal proteins build up in the body’s organs and tissues. Because its symptoms can resemble more common health issues, the condition is often overlooked, making awareness and early detection especially important.
Community members are invited to attend “Hidden in Plain Sight,” an informative event focused on ATTR amyloidosis, a rare form of heart disease that can quietly develop while appearing as everyday symptoms. During the program, attendees will learn how this condition can affect the heart, why it is frequently misdiagnosed, and what warning signs to watch for. Details: Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths, according to the American Cancer Society. Throughout the month of March, the “Strollin’ Colon” will be visiting other community centers and Jefferson Health locations.
