Mark R. Gosewisch “Gozzie”, on December 8, 2019, of Somerdale, formerly of Bellmawr. Age 62.

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Harder) for 41 years. Devoted father of Jason Gosewisch (Julie) and Ashley Sanderson (David Jr.). Loving pop-pop of Paige, Jason, Nathan, Angelina, Kolton and Chase. Dear brother of Louis Gosewisch (Phyllis), Ronald Gosewisch (Janet) and Beverly Wall (Dennis). Brother in law of Greg Kyler and the late Elizabeth Kyler. Mark leaves behind man’s best friends, Gus and Wally. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mark was a member of Barrington Rod and Reel Club. He also worked at Dominic’s Tavern in Bellmawr.

There will be a visitation on Friday from 6pm to 8pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial service at 8pm also at the funeral home.

Interment private.

Helen M. D’Abbraccio (nee McGhee), on December 3, 2019, of Bellmawr. Age 71.

Beloved wife of the late Mario D’Abbraccio. Devoted mother of Wayne MacManiman, Jr. (Catherine) and Elizabeth Colligan. Loving Nana of Caroline, Maura, Briget, Emily and Jessica. Helen was a choir member at Annunciation BVM Church and former choir director at Mary, Mother of the Church.

Now That\’s The Christmas Spirit!

the turmoil in the world it is nice to hear some good news now and then. Kelli Sharp, (nee Pfeffer)recently shared just such a tale with CNBNews about her family, friends and perfect strangers helping her get the Christmas Spirit.

Kelli, resides on Market Street with her husband Brett and their children. Kelli is a 1998 graduate of Gloucester High. This past summer the Sharp family lost all of their Christmas decorations they had stored in their basement because of the severe flooding on that street in June.

Sharp said, \”I, along with many members of my immediate family,

have lived, in Gloucester City our entire life. In June my immediate family and I where one of the residents on Market Street affected by the flood. We lost everything in our basement. That included all my Christmas decorations and I do mean all. I have added to my collection year after year. My children would say our house looked like a winter wonderland.\”

\”With not having decorations not even a tree I really was not feeling the Christmas spirit this year.

My brother took to Facebook on Nov 30.

My aunt, Connie Devoe, reached out to a local organization called \”The Helpers.\”

That same night my brother showed up with a truck full of Christmas stuff. Stockings, lights, garland a tree. Decorations for the inside and outside of my house.\”

\”I was overwhelmed with the generosity.

I can\’t thank everyone enough who helped us this year. It meant so much to me and my family.

We spent this past Sunday decorating.\”

\”There is so much sadness and death in the world. Somedays that is all you hear about on the television or radio. The people who helped us have instilled my trust and confidence in the human race.\”

\”On behalf of my family I would like to publicly thank my brother John Pfeffer, my aunt Connie DeVoe and \”The Helpers\” including Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Spotts and Terey and Jean Ayres. Hopefully I have not forgotten anyone if so please forgive me. I have included some photos of the new decorations. \”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi Endorses Norcross

Gustafson releases video announcing campaign for Congress

COLLINGSWOOD – Former Collingswood school board member Claire Gustafson announced today, via video, that she has entered the race to challenge Congressman Donald Norcross in New Jersey’s First Congressional District.

Gustafson announced on November 12th that she formed an exploratory committee “to gauge interest and support into a possible candidacy for Congress” and said today, “The exploring is done. I spent the past few weeks talking with friends, family and colleagues and am confident we will be able to raise the funds necessary to run an aggressive campaign against Congressman Norcross and the political machine that has a stranglehold on South Jersey.”

In her announcement video Gustafson makes it clear she is a pro-President Trump Republican saying, “I am unapologetically Republican and proudly stand with President Trump. Buena Vista Township Taxpayers Pay $185,000 to Settle Lawsuit

BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (December 1, 2019)—A lawsuit filed against the Buena Regional Board of Education, Atlantic County, was settled in May for $185,000, according to John Paff of

New Jersey Civil Settlements.

The suit was brought by a confidential secretary to the district\’s business administrator who claim the administrator gave a female employee in whom he had a

sexual interest a $10,000 raise to be his secretary.

According to the suit, the business administrator took the employee to the Tropicana in Atlantic City to have sex with her and also had sex with her in his office during school time. It was further alleged that both the business administrator and the female employee bragged to the secretary about the intensity of their sexual encounters.

In her lawsuit, Phyllis Boehm, a secretary for Buena Regional, claimed that Business Administrator Pasquale Yacovelli gave a $10,000 raise to a secretary who worked \”on a different side of the building\” so that she would become his secretary and ultimately his lover. Boehm claimed that the secretary, who is referred to in the lawsuit as \”Jane Doe,\” was her friend and that Yacovelli asked her to talk to Jane Doe about his interest in her.

According to the lawsuit, Jane became Yacovelli\’s secretary in September 2015 and Yacovelli \”used his influence as Business Administrator to get Jane the ten thousand dollar raise she wanted.\”

Boehm said that she \”was very uncomfortable with the whole situation\” and that Yacovelli\’s and Jane Doe\’s sexual activity and comments created \”an environment that was hostile for women to work in [and] was in violation of [the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination].\”

Before working for Buena Regional, Yacovelli served as business administrator for the Ocean City Board of Education until

his October 7, 2014 resignation

Helen M. Lewis (nee Nardone), on November 29, 2019, of Bellmawr, NJ; formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Age 94.

Beloved wife of the late John F. Lewis, Sr. Devoted mother of Helen Marie Lewis (LeRoy Spurgeon), John F. Lewis, Mary Theresa Jablonski (Frank), and Jean Boyer (the late Chuck). Loving grandmother of Mary Theresa, Robert Francis, John Paul, Monique Danielle, Matthew Bryce, and the late William Daniel and great-grandmother of Mina Marie and Xavier William. Helen worked for the LARC School and St. John of God. She loved to cook, shop, and travel but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.
