Ira “Ike” A. Ballinghoff, on February 18, 2020, of Runnemede, formerly of Fairview. Age 79.

Beloved husband of the late Connie (nee Hartman).  Devoted father of Kathleen Fischer (Tod), Michelle Barth (Mike), Tricia Frampton (Brian Obermeier) and Kenny Ballinghoff

(Colleen). Loving grandfather of Shaun, Kendall, Andrew, Kevin, Elizabeth, Megan, Erin, Katelyn, Kaylee and Allison and great grandfather of Devin, Donavan, Adilyn and Esme. Brother of Dorothy Jones, Fred and Jerry Ballinghoff. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ike was a long time member of the Clementon Gun Club.

There will be a visitation from 9:30am to 12noon Saturday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Dorothy E. Griffin (nee Herrmann), on February 13, 2020, of Bellmawr, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 88.

Beloved wife of 70 years to Jack. Devoted mother of Jim Griffin (Lesa), Diane Griffin and Stacy Griffin. Loving grandmother of Jason Griffin (Carly) and Andrew Pearce and great grandmother of Brady and Dylan. Dear sister of the late Jack Herrmann. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Griffin was a member of Bellmawr VFW Post 9563 Ladies Auxiliary.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and 9 to 10am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 10am Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Michael G. DelGozzo, of Ocean City; Alumnus of Rhode Island U and Bishop Eustace HS

Ocean City, NJ – On February 15, 2020. Age 46. Formerly of Medford. Loving son of Anthony M. and Alice M. DelGozzo. Loving brother of Greg DelGozzo and his wife, Sheryl and Vinny DelGozzo and his wife, Laura. Cherished uncle of Trevin, Josh, Cooper, Alex and Brooklynn. Loving longtime companion of Julie Dash. Also survived by many loving aunts

Mike was a graduate of Bishop Eustace High School class of 1992 and received his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Rhode Island. His interests included music, literature, fishing and surfing. Michael had great appreciation for horses, horse racing and the jockeys. He loved trips to the racetrack and annual trips to Saratoga.

Stanley C. Alcott, Jr., on February 16, 2020, of Bellmawr. Age 50.

Beloved husband of Donna (nee Scaffidi). Devoted father of Damian Alcott and cherished step-father of John Gibson and Katie Gibson. Loving son of Joan (nee Carr) and her companion Lou Colavecchi and the late Stanley Alcott, Sr. Dear brother of Denise Fiore (Charles), Sandy Sherlock (Gerald) and Anthony Alcott (Jaci). Also survived by many loved ones and his pets Penny, Luigi and the predeceased Boss.

Mr. Alcott loved riding his Harley Davidson and socializing with friends.

Johnathan Mergentha

Suddenly on February 3, 2020, of Concord, NC; formerly of Gloucester City, NJ.  Age 19 years.

Beloved son of Echo and Kevin Mergenthal.  Loving brother of Christopher Koloski, Miranda Koloski, Robert, Ava and Emily Mergenthal.  Dear grandson of Mabel and Karl Sherrer, Mimi Gloria Domina and the late Mona and Edward Mergenthal.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends: Tyler Mahoney and Troy Mikoski and his bird, Morty.

Johnathan was a former student at Gloucester City High School and a 2018 graduate of J.M. Robinson High School in Concord, NC.  He was currently studying Bioengineering at R.C.C.C.  Johnathan excelled in school, earning top honors in multiple Microsoft Certifications, winning the state championship on his Vex Robotics team and graduating with honors.  He enjoyed spending time with his family in various activities including family game nights and trips back to New Jersey.  Johnathan loved his pet cockatoo, Morty, and had a love of animals in general.  He was known for his quick, dark humor and practical jokes, even becoming ordained as a minister so he could buy \”Jesus wafers\” to overcome everyday challenges in life.  He loved making people smile and laugh and loved his family and friends.

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Interment will be private.
