Terrance Van Swartzle, 78, born in Hammonton

It is with heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved brother, Terry, who left us on February 27, 2026. Born on November 3, 1948, to Ethel Elizabeth (Betty) Van Fossen Swartzle and Francis A. Swartzle. He is survived by his sister, Sheryl Swartzle (Andrew Ball) and his niece, Darla Dill (Tradd Thomas) who will forever trea, sure the special moments shared together. Terrance was born in Hammonton, NJ and was developmentally disabled.

For many years, Terry was cared for at Elwyn New Jersey by many wonderful caregivers and friends and by the Bureau of Guardianship Services.

Philadelphia, PA – Spring break is around the corner, and parents everywhere are looking for ways to keep kids active, engaged, and off their screens while school is out. This year, let the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) turn those days off into high-flying, energy-burning, joy-filled adventures with its Kid’s Day Off Circus Camps, the perfect spring break solution for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade. Spring Break camps run all day from 9:00am to 3:00pm for $95 a day per child, plus there’s even options this year for after care from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and extended care from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. A New Way to Close the Pediatric Mental Health Gap

Newswise — For years, pediatricians have faced a growing dilemma. Families increasingly turn to primary care for help with mental health concerns, yet many pediatricians feel underprepared, and child psychiatrists remain in short supply.

More than a decade ago, University of Michigan Health tried a different approach: bringing child psychiatry directly into the pediatric medical home and embedding it into pediatric resident training.

The result was the Pediatric Psychiatry Colocalized Consult Clinic, or P2C3, a model designed to improve access to care while training future pediatricians to manage common mental health conditions.

Newly reported outcomes from the clinic, published in the journal Psychiatric Services, show the approach worked. The program proved durable, scalable and beneficial for both patients and pediatric physicians.
