Online Pet Pharmacies/ Protect Yourself and Your Pet:

Be Online Pet Pharmacy\"Ucm203062\"

\”Affordable pet prescriptions!\”
\”Pet meds at discount prices!\”
\”No prescription required!\”
\”Your best source for pet meds!\”

If you’ve ever searched online for prescription pet medicines, you’ve no doubt seen eye-catching, attention-grabbing claims. They sound convincing in their promises of convenience and lower prices. But are these claims really true?

Internet sites that sell pet drugs can be reputable pharmacies. However, others are fronts for businesses breaking Federal, State, and sometimes, International laws. Illegal online pharmacies may sell medicines that are counterfeit, outdated, mislabeled, incorrectly formulated, or improperly made or stored. These medicines may not contain the actual drug, or the correct amount of drug, may contain contaminants, may not work as well due to age or being stored in conditions that were too hot, cold, or humid, and may not have the proper directions for use. If you are unhappy with ordered products, illegal online pharmacies may fraudulently leave you with no way to get your money back. In the end, you may find buying prescription pet medicines online costly to your pet’s health and your wallet.

If you find a cheaper medicine online, ask your veterinarian to consider matching the price. Many veterinarians are willing to competitively charge based on the online price you’ve found (and can show proof of). You should also know that neither the drug maker nor your veterinarian will stand behind a product’s guarantee if you purchase the product online.

If you still want to purchase your pet’s prescription medicines online, remember there is no fool-proof way to tell if an online pharmacy is legal. However, you can protect yourself by doing your homework and being online pharmacy A.W.A.R.E.

A— Ask Your Veterinarian

Before you purchase online, talk with your veterinarian! Your veterinarian supports you and wants what’s best for both you and your pet. Ask your veterinarian questions, like: \”Do you trust the internet pharmacy site?\”, \”Have you ever worked with the company?\”, and \”Have other clients used that site?\” If any of the answers are \”yes,\” what were your veterinarian\’s experiences?

March 31, 2010This video was produced by the Discovery Channel and is about a multiple LODD that occurred in Gloucester City New Jersey and involved both the Gloucester and Mt. Ephraim Fire Departments. This video gives Firefighters an opportunity to look within and ask the question \”How prepared is my Department for a worse case scenario?\” There\’s always something to learn from every tragedy. If a Firefighter\’s death is not to be in vain, than we must take what we can and apply the lessons learned.

May we never forget the Valor, Honor and Sacrifice of our fallen brothers; GFD FF Tommy Stuart , MEFD Chief Jim Sylvester and MEFD Deputy Chief John West.

Christie’s Budget Sends Shock Waves Throughout the State

By Albert Countryman Jr.

Publisher/Editor Gloucester City News

When Governor Chris Christie announced his proposed state budget March 16, he sent shock waves that nearly swamped school districts and towns throughout the state.

School district business administrators, superintendents and staff had just five days, counting the weekend, to prepare their 2010-11 budgets.

\"Glou__Transmission

They had to be submitted by the Monday, March 22, deadline to county departments of education.

And, they had to prepare the budgets with less state aid than last year.

The proposed school budgets for Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Gloucester City and Mount Ephraim, with the new numbers, are printed in the legal pages (6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 15) of this week’s Gloucester City News.

Voters will decide on the budgets during the upcoming School Election April 20. Polls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.

Christie’s proposed budget cuts aid to school districts a total of $819 million. Individual districts lose up to 5 percent of their total budget in state aid.

Meanwhile, local mayors and governing bodies were also stunned with the loss in state aid, as they try to prepare their 2010 municipal budgets.

Aid to municipalities throughout the state will be cut by $446 million.

Locally, all five towns in the NEWS’ coverage area had their state aid cut 16 percent from last year’s figures, as follows:

Gloucester City aid will be cut from $3.187 million to $2.678 million; Bellmawr will drop from $1.446 million to $1.215 million; Brooklawn will go from $230,370 to $199,509; Mount Ephraim will see a decrease from $492,211 to $413,704; and Westville will be cut from $478,759 to $402,397.

Governor Christie, in explaining his reasons for the cuts, said the state of New Jersey is facing a major financial crisis, and that tough decisions have to be made.
