Of Pittsgrove Township, suddenly on September 21, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 19.

A tough, young lady with a free spirit and passion for life, Laura lived every day to the fullest. Her eclectic taste in many music genres, fueled her talent for playing the guitar and singing. Laura\’s talents didn\’t stop with music; drawing and expressing herself writing poetry were things she also enjoyed. Laura was a good and hard worker; she was employed as a waitress with the Centerton Country Club. Currently enrolled at Cumberland Community College, Laura was working toward her degree in Business.

She is the beloved daughter of Charles L. Neilio and Laurie L. Barr; loving sister of Danielle, Morgan and Ellen Neilio; devoted granddaughter of Maryellen (nee Hurff) and Charles Neilio; special aunt of Jameson; dear niece of Susan Hoffman (Jeff), Michelle Vayo (Walter), Edward Neilio (Kathy) and great-niece of Carol Ritchie; girlfriend of Eric Krwawecz; also sadly missed by many cousins and friends.

Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey men’s soccer team pushed unbeaten #17 Montclair State to their limit, but the Red Hawks (8-0-1) knocked in a loose ball off of a corner kick with 4:16 remaining to edge the Lions 1-0.

TCNJ (3-3-3) played a balanced match and were in position to hand Montclair State its first loss of the season. After a scoreless first half, TCNJ had the better part of play for the majority of the second period. Sophomore Ray Nelan (Haddon Heights, NJ/Haddon Heights) and classmate Michael Recchia (Wayside, NJ/Ocean Township) spearheaded several offensive attacks, but the Lions had difficulty penetrating a strong Montclair defense led by sophomore Kevin Brown (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley).

I\’ve been a teacher and loyal NJEA member for 13 years. But I can\’t sit idly by when the ugliness of political campaigns interferes with the important work teachers perform all over the state.
It\’s hard to ignore the campaign for governor that\’s already well underway. And while I\’ve always supported the efforts of the NJEA to educate its members about political campaigns, I\’ve never been as disappointed as I am now with the NJEA\’s blatant attempts to smear Chris Christie\’s positions on education. The NJEA has actually sent teachers across the state a document lying about Chris\’ positions on issues important to teachers. The NJEA is saying that Chris wants to eliminate teachers\’ pensions, cut teachers\’ health benefits, end collective bargaining and cut school spending.
