Obit Alfred Long, of Gloucester City

LONG Alfred III. On July 2, 2007. Age 66. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 45 years to Leola Long (nee Garrison). Dear Father of Michael (Melissa) Long Sr. of Pennsville, Brian (Colleen) Long of Gloucester City and Jeannine (Thomas) Wiltsey of Deptford. Cherished grandfather of Michael Jr, Cody, Nicholas, Alexis, Alexa, Kaleigh, Madison, Kyle, Lindsey, Erik, and Brian Jr.

Alfred was a lifetime resident of Gloucester City and a parishioner of St. Mary\’s Church. Alfred was a sheet metal worker for N.Y. shipyard and worked 32 years at SYSCO Foods in Philadelphia Pa. He was a member of the Order of the Moose in Gloucester City.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Friday morning from 9 am to 10:30 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am at Saint Mary\’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. There will be no evening viewing. Interment New Saint Mary\’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

Family requests memorial donations be made in Alfred\’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House of SNJ, 550 Mickle Blvd. Camden, NJ 08103. Please write in the memo of the check: Alfred Long III.
