Hunting and Fishing: New inductees have left large footprints

(01-12) 19:25 PST — Rick Copeland of Alameda is a preeminent outdoorsman whose skills and passions have helped bring thousands of children, women and other adults into the world of the outdoors.

Gary Graham of Escondido is the rare mix of world-renown angler, philanthropist and communicator.

The late Francis Farquhar ranks with John Muir for his influence upon the Sierra Club, the conservation movement and the climbing of wilderness peaks.

All three are California originals who were inducted into the California Outdoors Hall of Fame Saturday at the San Mateo International Sportsmen\’s Exposition. The show closes out a four-day run today at the San Mateo County Event Center.
