The Bellmawr resident constantly put the needs of others before his own. He was as courteous, kind, polite and mild-tempered in his personal life as in his role as a NJ Transit bus driver, a high-stress job that required handling impatient commuters and the demands of the riding public.
Campanell, who died last month at 83, had a penchant for smoking cigars, singing show tunes and frequently flashing an ear-to-ear grin that was infectious.
