College Baseball: Kean Blasts Past Montclair, 13-1

Little Falls, N.J. (4/9/09) – Freshman southpaw Ryan Zamorsky (Branchburg, N.J.) scattered seven hits in eight solid innings while Lee Cavico (North Brunswick, N.J.) (pictured left) belted a grand slam as #5/12 Kean scored in all but one inning in a 13-1 victory over Montclair State at Yogi Berra Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

Junior second baseman Mike Moceri (Yardville, N.J.) was 2-for-4 with a triple, homerun, three runs scored and two RBI as Kean (22-6, 7-2 NJAC) posted its fifth straight win and swept the season set from Montclair. The Cougars recorded a 5-4 win in Union on March 26.

Sophomore catcher Kevin Bond (Cedar Grove, N.J.) belted a solo home run for Montclair State, which fell back to the .500 mark at 11-11 overall, 4-3 in the NJAC.
