NO HOMEMADE MONUMENTS
I have written about this problem before and some of you just don\’t get it!! The Cedar Grove Cemetery’s very existence depends on taking in money from grave sales, burials and installing foundations for monument stones.
It is very unfair to those people who have paid good money for a beautiful stone, and then have someone make a marker alongside theirs.
I will say, again, please stop this practice. I have given orders July 23 to dismantle and stack the material on the grave site.
Over in \”B\” section is a small fence erected way out from the original grave site. Understand a grave size is 3\’x8\’x6\’ deep.
Every section this has been going on. I looked away at first, and figured they were saving for a proper maker, but I was very wrong.
So please people stop this and remove your homemade markers. It is offensive and against the law of the cemetery.
The deed states \”no erection of monuments without permission.\” I have worked too hard since 1994 to have it junked up.
I thank you for your understanding.
