A JEER TO WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR POOR PERFORMANCE

In the July 8 issue of The Gloucester City News, there was a \”JEER\” on the $\"100_2873_00\"$ employees of Waste Management leaving trash cans and lids in the street.

I realize the backup of trash collection due to the 4th of July Holiday, but that is no excuse for \”poor performance\”. I only see this on Rosalind Avenue but this happens every week and I am sure it happens in other parts of town.

Waste Management has been \”spoken to\” in the past with the same performance as the employees show, \”POOR\”.

Enclosed are a few pictures taken at 2pm on Friday, July 9 on Rosalind Avenue.

Bellmawr Fire Department: 4 Vehicle Accident, 3 Injured

Rescue 32 , BLS 317, and BLS 558 (GCFD) responded to Route $\"Header\"$ 76 Northbound for a multi vehicle accident at Exit 1B.

Crews arrived to find 4 vehicles involved with 3 injuries.

The crew from the Rescue secured the vehicles and handled a minor fluid spill.

BLS 317 and BLS 558 transported the patients to the hospital. NJSP is investigating the incident.

Suzanne M. Trakimas, age 63, of Gloucester City; GCHS Alumni Class of ‘65

$\"333800\"$ Suddenly, On July 9, 2010. Age 63. Of Gloucester City. Cherished Daughter of Theresa (nee Sherrer) and the late Alexander. Beloved Sister of Alexander, Patricia (Richard) Woodland, Joseph (Jackie) Trakimas, Ann (Charles) Adams and the late Frances. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Suzanne was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School Class of 1965. At Suzanne’s request, cremation was private.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, July 13 from 6:30 to 7 pm at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 7 pm in the church.

Bellmawr School District Summer Reading Program

The Bellmawr School District has announced the beginning of its annual Summer Reading Program.

According to Frank Jankowski, E.M. Burke Principal and program chair, the format has been changed to a mandatory requirement, instead of the rewards-based style in past years.

Teachers from all three Bellmawr schools comprise the Committee, and include:
