Mr. Burt was the youngest of 8 children and is survived by one brother, Norman. Mr. Burt was a Proud Army Veteran of WWII and was particularly proud of his service as a member of the Honor Guard to General Douglas MacArthur. He was a former member of the Square Circle Sportmans Club and in his spare time was an accomplished model shipbuilder, building many incredibly detailed ships to exact scale. He was also an avid gardener and fisherman.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:30pm at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Powell St., Gloucester City. His Celebration of Life will begin at 2:30pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorial Donations in Mr. Burt’s name be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. www.etheringtonfh.com
