Gloucester City Receives Grant to Repair Orange Street

$\"gcnj\"$ Gloucester City has been awarded a Small Cities Grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs in the amount of $427,000.00 for the total reconstruction of Orange Street. This funding will enable the City to replace all utilities, curbs, sidewalks and roadway with minor widening.

\”This particular street is in need of restructuring and this grant will allow the City to accomplish this without costing the taxpayers\” said Mayor William James.

As a result of public bidding, this project was awarded to Ivymount Construction Company. This project has recently gotten under way and is expected to take two months to complete.
