The phone survey included 2,816 randomly-selected registered voters in the First District. Two hundred responses were received from voters in 33 different towns, and the results were compiled and analyzed by graduate students at Rutgers University in Camden. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 7%.

\”Rob Andrews’ support for Obamacare against his constituent’s wishes definitely affected his plummeting poll numbers,\” Glading said. \”Overall, the phone survey proved that there is a major disconnect between Rob and the voters he is supposed to be representing.\”
\”South Jersey residents are ready for a change,\” added Glading. \”Rob has been in Washington for 20 years and voters see him as part of the problem, not part of the solution.\”

\”I promise to be an independent voice for the tax payers of South Jersey,\” Glading concluded, \”and I will seek to return more of their hard-earned money back to them.\”

In the future, similar information will be posted online and offered over the phone for trips along other state highways.

\”Real-time trip information gives New Jersey residents and visitors the ability to avoid or at least limit exposure to roadway congestion by adjusting departure times,\” said Commissioner James Simpson. \”This is just a first step in our plan to use technology to give motorists the tools to better manage their travel plans throughout the state.\”

 Included in those plans were 3000 new homes being constructed by Beazer Home Construction and other well known contractors. Those plans were scrapped because of environment problems that would have taken 10 years or more to fix. Some – such as key mayoral aides Managing Director Richard Negrin ($171,000) or Chief of Staff Clarence Armbrister ($178,650) – may not surprise you. But others – correctional officers pulling down six figures by working overtime – might. City officials stressed that they have worked to keep overall payroll costs down in recent years. Finance Director Rob Dubow said that the city has eliminated roughly 800 full-time positions, as part of the ongoing budget cuts.

Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey football was selected to finish seventh in the New Jersey Athletic Conference according to pre-season ballots cast by the 10 head coaches competing in the league. NJAC football affiliate member SUNY Cortland received the nod as the 2010 pre-season favorite.

The Lions, led by head coach Eric Hamilton, finished the 2009 campaign with a 4-6 overall record. They shared the sixth-place slot with The College at Brockport, who matched TCNJ with a 3-6 conference record.

Hamilton enters his 34^th season at the head of the program and has compiled a career record of 196-30-6. He is four wins shy of win number 200.
