The School Board first honored the students for their outstanding work, introducing each child individually and recognizing their achievements.
Parents had the opportunity to take several pictures of the children as a group, and with their Principal.
Board members then discussed various issues, including planning for substitute teachers and paraprofessionals within the district; field trips for various grades to the Baltimore Harbor, Franklin Institute, and The Academy of Natural Sciences; and possible student placements within the district, as recommended by the Child Study Team.
The Board also discussed an issue raised about a lunch menu item named, \”The Super Donut.\”
Members said they would ensure that it met all nutritional standards necessary in order for it to be served at the school.
The meeting concluded with all issues having been discussed and addressed, future topics presented, and reports from all committees presented.
