Bridgeport Speedway, Carl Locuson earned his first victory in the
600cc Micro-Sprint class. In the 270cc Micro-Sprint race, Jonathan
John, of Gloucester City NJ collected career win number one. Warren Stradley continued his winning ways by taking home the checkered flag in the 4-Cylinder Stock Car class.In the 600cc Micro-Sprint main event, Carl Locuson took advantage of
his pole starting position and grabbed the lead with Chris Panczner
and Eric Brobst in tow. With six circuits completed in the 20-lap
race, Locuson was just beginning to stretch out his lead when the
yellow flag flew for Rick Stief who lost a wheel and came to a stop on
the outside of turn three. When action resumed, Locuson kept his lead
with Bob DeVault climbing into fourth after starting the race in
ninth.
