Brooklawn Boro Welcomes Back Tom MacAdams

Mayor Theresa Branella officially welcomed former Councilman Thomas MacAdams back to his seat on Brooklawn Borough Council during the December meeting.

MacAdams, who had retired earlier this year due to illness, was sworn in by the mayor and then took part in the meeting.

Bellmawr BOE Addresses Safety, Including Railroad Crossing Gates

A new safety measure, along with a return to a recurring problem, garnered much attention during the December meeting of the Bellmawr Board of Education (BOE).

At the workshop portion, conducted the same evening as the regular meeting, Board member Ed Legenski said railroad crossing gates would be installed at the tracks on West Browning Road, adjacent to the former Fisher Steel building.
