Celebrate summer on the waterfront as the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation sets sail with another great season of outdoor entertainment on the RiverStage on the GREAT PLAZA at Penn’s Landing and Philadelphia’s newest park, the RACE STREET PIER. Enjoy festivals, concerts, live arts, First Fridays, Screenings Under the Stars, kayaks, swan boats AND more fireworks than ever before! Screenings Under the Stars continues tomorrow night and every Thursday night in August. The GREAT PLAZA will be transformed into a unique outdoor theater and this week’s feature, The Muppets, begins at 8:00 p.m.
The 15th Anniversary of Smooth Jazz Summer Nights celebrates Woman in Music every Friday night in August at 7:30 p.m. at the GREAT PLAZA, followed by the free Friday Night Lights landside Fireworks display. This week is One plus 1 featuring Patrice Rushen and Ndugu Chancler Par RACE STREET PIER comes alive this season with exciting free programs including Feel Great Fitness every Saturday morning and Sunday Fundays every Sunday afternoon.
