Gloucester Township PD Alert: IRS Phone Scams

The Gloucester Township Police recently took a report of a fraudulent phone call where the victim was told the caller was the IRS and that she owed money. Please see the below information from the IRS from August 2014.

The Internal Revenue Service issued a consumer alert providing taxpayers with additional tips to protect themselves from telephone scam artists calling and pretending to be with the IRS.
