Reminder for the week: Before hunting wild turkey, review regulations

 DOVER (May 1, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between April 20-26 made 729 contacts with anglers, hunters, boaters and the general public, including 115 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Officers responded to 30 complaints and issued 17 citations, five of which were related to the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail, where there is an increased Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police presence.

Obit: Charles Patrick Malloy of Gloucester City

On April 29, 2015. Age. 87. Of Gloucester City. Predeceased by his wife Nancy J. (nee Raider). Loving father of Charlotte Durr (Charles, Sr.), Patricia Lanzilotta (Joseph, Jr.) and Michael Malloy (Karen). Cherished grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 15. Dear brother of Eugene Malloy and the late Thomas Malloy.

Charles proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a former resident of Trent Road in Fairview. Charles was the owner and operator of the Commission for the Blind snack bar on 2nd and Market Streets in Camden and he loved horse racing.

Viewing Saturday, May 1, 2015 from 12 Noon to 12:30 PM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 PM in the church. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, donations requested to St. Mary’s Church Special Fund, at above church address. Please note, in memory of Charles Patrick Malloy.

CNB CRIME: Moorestown Police Investigating Residential Burglary

MOORESTOWN NJ MAY 4, 2015–Moorestown Police are investigating a residential burglary with force that occurred today between 10:40-11:15am. Entrance was gained by smashing a basement window. Jewelry and Cash of as yet undetermined value were taken. The subjects were described as two thin African-American males wearing navy blue t-shirts. They were operating a dark colored import sedan that was captured on a resident\’s home surveillance entering and leaving the development.
