Rider’s Uliana MAAC Rookie of Week
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—Rider University red-shirt freshman Brian Uliana was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for all games played April 27-May 3.
In a 4-1 week for the first place Broncs (23-18, 11-4 MAAC), Uliana (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) batted .500 with eight hits in four games, including a home run, two doubles and a pair of bunt singles, and seven RBI while scoring four runs.
\”Brian came off the bench and gave us the spark we needed offensively,\” said Rider head coach Barry Davis. \”He was impressive.\”
