CAMDEN, N.J. – A Gloucester County, New Jersey, man was sentenced today to 240 months in prison for distributing images of child sexual abuse over the Internet, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Gerrett Conover, 50, of Woolwich Township, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Noel L. Hillman to Count Three of the indictment against him, distribution of child pornography. Judge Hillman imposed the sentence today in Camden federal court. Conover has been in custody since his arrest.

CHEER-The City of Gloucester City hired a new police officer using funds from the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ). The officer, Barbara Kane, is a former Camden City cop who was laid off by that City because of budget restraints. She is the first police woman ever hired in the 388 year history of the City. Officer Kane is a resident of Gloucester City.
JEER-To the two idiots who were involved in the traffic accident in February with the school bus on Johnson Blvd. Gloucester City Police charged the suspects with being under the influence Police say the driver of the pickup truck will be charged with driving while intoxicated. They say heroin was found inside the truck.

DOVER DELAWARE(Oct. 16, 2015) – DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife today announced the list of private butcher shops accepting donated deer for the state’s Sportsmen Against Hunger Program during the 2015/16 Delaware deer hunting season. All donated venison will be distributed to charitable groups participating in the program.

NEWARK, N.J. – A Philadelphia man was sentenced today to 126 months in prison for trying to deliver 1.7 kilograms of pure methamphetamine in Elizabeth, New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Aaron Vega-Castelo, 29, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo to an indictment charging him with one count of distribution and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Judge Arleo imposed the sentence today in Newark federal court.

Steven Matin Sandberg
End of Watch: Sunday, October 18, 2015
Investigator Steve Sandberg was shot and killed while guarding a prisoner at St. Cloud Hospital, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
The prisoner was in custody in connection with a domestic assault in Aitkin County. At approximately 5:15 am the subject attacked and disarmed Investigator Sandberg in the hospital room. The man then fatally shot Investigator Sandberg with his own service weapon.
Another deputy was able to subdue the subject with a Taser. The man died a short time later from an unknown cause.
Investigator Sandberg had served with Aitkin County Sheriff\’s Office for 24 years.![\"\"](\"/images/stars.png\")
