Purpose
The Gloucester City Board of Health serves as an advisory board that advises the Mayor and Council on public health issues. The Board also runs a yearly rabies clinic, a blood drive as well as other health related programs though out the City.
Blood Drive – August 13, 2008 at Gloucester Heights Fire Hall on Nicholson Road
Rabies Clinic – October 4, 2008 at Public Works Dept. on Brick Street
NOTE from Bill: ….I see some information was recently added to the City\’s website pertaining to the Board of Health. But the City failed to include the contact phone numbers and or email addresses for each member. The public should be able to reach someone on this Board in case a health emergency arises.
Hopefully it was an oversight and the information will be posted now that it has been brought to the City\’s attention.
