Following a Stabbing, West Deptford Man Charged with Attempted Murder

Woodbury, NJ 9FEBRUARY 13, 20260– Randall D. Bilger, 61, of West Deptford, was arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder and third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon following a stabbing that left one adult injured, Gloucester County Prosecutor Andrew B. Johns announced.

West Deptford responded Friday morning after a witness called 911 to report Bilger was bleeding and holding a knife. The witness had gone to the residence to check on the victim, an adult female. They told officers that after finding the front door locked, they went to the back door, where Bilger answered, holding a knife and covered in blood, and said “It’s not a good time.”

When police arrived, Bilger came to the front door but ignored orders to exit the house.

Officer then entered the home, arrested Bilger, and found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim reported that Bilger had stabbed them in the shoulder hours earlier and again in the abdomen shortly before the witness knocked on the door. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The maximum terms of incarceration are 20 years for the attempted murder charge and 5 years for the weapons charge.

Prosecutor Johns also thanked the West Deptford Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit for their assistance in the investigation.

The charges contained in the complaint are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Gloucester County Animal Shelter (GCAS), will offer FREE rabies vaccinations for residents’ pets at locations throughout Gloucester County.

• Washington Twp Public Works, 1 McClure Drive (10am–11:30am)

📍 February 28, 2026

• Glassboro Highway Garage, 125 Grove Street (12pm–2pm)

Clinics will continue through April 2026 at various locations countywide.

📌 National Park will hold its clinic later in 2026, with the date announced at a later time.

Clayton Woman charged with Stun Gun Assault on Adult with Autism

Woodbury, NJ – Yolanda F. Johnson, 62, of Clayton, was arrested and charged with  third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree endangering a person with a  developmental disability, and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful  purpose after allegedly stabbing an adult victim in her care with a stun gun. 

According to documents filed in this case: 

On Feb. 3, an adult victim, who is diagnosed with autism, disclosed to individuals at  school they had been harmed in their home. The victim, who had marks on their left,  rear shoulder, told police they had been stabbed with a “stab gun” as they attempted to  leave home on Jan. 30.  

A search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed at Johnson’s home where a  blue stun gun was found.  

Johnson was arrested Feb. 5 and released on a summons.  

The maximum term of incarceration is 5 years in state prison for each charge.

Five Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse Material in January 2026

Five individuals were arrested last month for crimes related tochild sexual abuse material (CSAM), reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

Investigations conducted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit, including task force officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department and Camden County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Cherry Hill Police Department, Oaklyn Police Department, and Berlin Borough Police Department, led to the following defendants being arrested in January 2026:

Bridgeton Man Sentenced to 18 Years on Drug, Weapons charges

 Chester Williams, 58, of Bridgeton, was sentenced Friday to 18 years in  New Jersey State Prison for cocaine distribution and weapons offenses by the Honorable  Kevin T. Smith pursuant to a plea agreement.  

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in open court: Williams sold cocaine and four firearms to undercover officers on several occasions. He was originally charged on 23 counts of a 44-count indictment, and in April 2025, pled guilty to first-degree distribution of cocaine and second-degree unlawful possession  of a weapon.  

The charges stemmed from a multi-state narcotic trafficking investigation started by the  New Jersey State Police in June 2021. The investigation, conducted from February  through May 2022, ultimately led to the arrest of multiple individuals.  In addition to Williams, the following defendants were previously sentenced in the case:
