• City of Camden parishes, St. Bartholomew and St. Joan of Arc will unite to form St. Josephine Bakhita Parish. The new parish will be located at St. Bartholomew with St. Joan of Arc Church remaining open as a worship site for the new parish. Father Gerard Marable, Priest Convener for the consolidation, has been named pastor of the new parish for a six year term. St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, whose boundaries will be those of the existing parishes, will serve about 880 families in Camden County. Recognizing that the first Mass celebrated with the Black Catholic Community in Camden was in March 1940 when St. Bartholomew was a mission church, the Bishop has also decreed that St. Josephine Bakhita Parish will also serve as a personal parish for the African American Catholic Community in the county.

DiGiambattista and Philip J., Jr. and Theodore P. Gorski. Dear brother of Maryann Tully (Joe), Patricia DiGiambattista and the late Nicholas. Son-in-law of Norman Imperatore.

Peter was founder of Peter Dee Insurance of Bellmawr. He was instrumental in the formation of the Joint Insurance Fund (JIF). Peter was a current councilman in the Boro of Bellmawr and a member of the Builders League of South Jersey. He was a member of the Runnemede Bellmawr Glendora Rotary Club and past president of IIANJ, Camden and Gloucester. Peter was also a member of the Bellmawr Democrat Club.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 9pm Monday eve and 8 to 9am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday at Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

The minimum distance from an occupied building where a bowhunter may have a nocked arrow is now reduced from 450 feet to 150 feet. Carrying a bow with a nocked arrow within 150 feet of an occupied building or 450 feet of any school playground is prohibited. Any portion of the school grounds (including fields used for sports), that could be used for play or recreation, is considered to be part of a playground.

The owner or lessee of a building-and persons specifically authorized by the owner or lessee in writing (written permission must be in possession while hunting)-may hunt within 150 feet of the building. Persons authorized to hunt within 150 feet of a building must hunt from an elevated position to shoot down toward the ground. Shooting into a safety zone is prohibited.

Danny was promoted to Specialist in July.

Danny has been serving in the Army since Sept. 11^th 2008.

He is a graduate of Bishop Eustace High School in Pennsauken where he graduated in 2007. He was involved for all 4 years in their Cross Country and Track program as well as their outreach programs. He spent a year at Penn State and St. Joseph’s University, but decided that he still wanted to serve the country and put his education on hold.

Danny is an Eagle Scout with Troop 76 in Mount Laurel.

The Warrior Watch Riders, Yellow Ribbon Club, Mt. Laurel Fire and Police Departments, along Mt. Laurel Township will be on hand to make some noise and welcome home this hero in Rock Star style.
