WHEN EAST MEETS WEST: Photo of Barry Soetoros and Family aka President Barack Obama

\"ATT01171\"

Commentary by Hank F. Miller Jr.

Someone sent me this family photo of President Obama as a youngster along with a photo copy of a Indonesia registration certificate that I like to share with the readers of ClearysNoteBook. I lived and worked in Indonesia for Atlantic Richfield in the 1970\’s on and off over a 5 year period and read and spoke the language proficiently.

Seated to the right side along with his father, mother and little sister is President Barack Obama.

The document to the right is a copy of Barack Obama\’s registration form to accompany the family in Indonesia as named on the certificate then was Barry Soetoros. The certificate is written\"ATT01174\" in the Indonesian language.

This I believe is a registration certificate to join the family in Indonesia just after the birth of Barack Obama\’s sisters in Honolulu, Hawaii. (click to enlarge)

On the certificate is listed under:

1. Name: Barry Soetoros = Barack Obama.

2.Tempat Dan tanggal lahir:From Honolulu 4/8/61.

3.Bangas warga negara: Living in Indonesia.

4.Aginia: Religion – Islam.

The other lines are to bleared to much for me to read clearly.

Warm Regards from Kitakyushu City, Japan.

Have a wonderful Day.

Hank F. Miller Jr.

Note: Hank is a former resident of Gloucester City who resides in Kitakyushu City, Japan.

Rams Alumni Patrick Enright Fighting for AFL Cruiserweight Title at Trump Marina

ATLANTIC CITY-The Asylum Fight League , New Jersey\’s premier amateur fight league will be holding an event at the world famous Trump Marina tonight, September 18 at Trump Marina.

Asylum promoter Carl Mascarenhas is excited about the venue. \”Partnering with the Trump Marina cements the Asylum Fight League\’s reputation as the number one amateur MMA organization on the East Coast.\”

Carl also promises another exciting night of amatuer mixed martial arts. Headlining the card is Julio Arce vs. RJ Starace in a super lightweight AFL title fight. Co-featured is Patrick Enright vs. Anton Berzin for the AFL cruiserweight title. In addition many other competitive match-ups fill out the card.

Patrick is a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and a resident of Gloucester City NJ.

The goal of the AFL is to showcase the best amateur talent on the East Coast by matching them competitively and preparing them a possible professional career. More than a few fighters have gotten their start at the Asylum and then moved onto the pros where they\’ve flourished.

And Carl Mascarenhas couldn\’t be happier. \”The goal has always been that today\’s Asylum stars are tomorrow\’s UFC stars,\” he says proudly. \”That\’s what the Asylum is all about.\”

NOTE: Sorry for the late notice about Patrick’s fight. I just received the TIP earlier tonight about this event. Will give you an update on Saturday ~ Bill Cleary
