Head Coach Andy Reid

Injury Report: \”(WR) DeSean Jackson has a groin strain. We\’ll just see how he does; it\’s going to be a day to day situation. (CB) Dimitri Patterson is going to have hand surgery here in the next couple of days. He will be out for this coming game. (CB) Asante Samuel had a neck stinger, he should be okay. (RB) Brian Westbrook sprained his ankle, has a little bit of swelling in it. It\’s the same ankle that he had surgery on. We\’ll just see how he does here in the next couple of days. (G/T) Todd Herremans is making progress but again, won\’t be ready this week. And then (QB) Donovan (McNabb) continues to make progress, we\’ll just see how he does. If he does not play this week then (QB) Kevin Kolb will be the starter.\”

Opening Remarks: \”Again, with a game like yesterday and the way that game worked out, it wasn\’t a lack of effort. There were other things involved there in the execution part, and that falls completely on my plate. I\’ve got to make sure that I take care of the execution, the discipline, and so on that it takes to win a game in the National Football League and that part didn\’t happen. It\’s tough to beat a good football team like the Saints with the field position that we put ourselves in, the penalties, five of which were on special teams, which you obviously can\’t do. Those go hand in hand that field position and those penalties. And then the turnovers, you have four turnovers and three of those end up in 21 points against you. I tell you the way we started that second half with two turnovers and then the bad field position and then getting a field goal that just can\’t take place. I will address this with the team today and we will figure out the problems, get them answered, resolved, and get ourselves ready to play the Kansas City Chiefs.\”
