Washington, D.C.: As liberal lawmakers return to Washington hoping to enact new cap-and-trade climate change regulations that essentially are a massive new energy tax, Project 21 Fellow Deneen Borelli will be joining an expected crowd of thousands to voice grassroots opposition to cap-and-trade in Philadelphia.\"NCPPRPressReleaseHeader\"
Borelli is scheduled to speak at the \”Cost of Hot Air\” rally to be held on Independence Mall in downtown Philadelphia September 9 beginning at 4:00 PM.

Harold G. Batdorf Sr., of Gloucester City, Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #322 member, Korean War Army Veteran

On September 8, 2009. Age 79. Of Gloucester City. Formerly of Ashland, PA. Beloved son of the late Frederick and Sara Batdorf (nee Love). Loving Father of Harold G. Batdorf, II of Gloucester City and the late Kathy Batdorf. Loving grandfather of Harold, III and Danny of West Deptford. Dear brother of Frederick Batdorf, Lois (James) Smith and James Batdorf. Predeceased by his brothers; Charles and Russell. Beloved best friend of Pat. Also survived by many nephews.

Hal was born in Ashland, Pa where he was an outstanding athlete and graduated from Ashland High School class of 1947. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Hal was a resident of Gloucester City for the past 53 years. Prior to his retirement, Hal belonged to the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #322 for 56 years.

Relatives, friends and members of Local #322 are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Saturday Morning from 10 am to 12 noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St. (at Brown Street) Gloucester City.

Interment will be private at Sunnyside Cemetery Mowry, Pa.
