Obituary: Marie Stella Mealey of Gloucester City

Marie Stella Mealey

of Gloucester City, formerly of National Park Age 81years, daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Campbell. Marie will be reunited with her husband Robert D. Mealey who was taken by the Lord early in life. Marie was surrounded by the people who loved her. She was a devoted mother to Robert Mealey, Jr. (Deborah) (Mealey’s Pub) and Lynn Mealey Stinsman (Dennis). Loving grandmother of James Mealey (Shelley), Dennis Stinsman III (Nicole), Marc Stinsman (Tammy), great grandmother of McKenna, Gage, Bryce Mealey and Colin and Carter Stinsman and her baby Bandit. Marie was predeceased by her brother Harry Campbell (Joan) and Ruth Wenner (Bill) and is survived by her dear sister and friend Joan Wright (Ed).

Marie was a very reserved quiet woman who loved shopping, the Casino’s and the Ocean City Beach. She will be sadly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. A Catholic prayer service will be held 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. There will be no evening viewing. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Marie’s name be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc. Debbie was a very caring person who always enjoyed the company of her friends. Ronald D. Stewart, suddenly on July 5, 2015, of Gloucester Twp. Age 47.

Devoted father of Colin and Logan, with whom he loved to go fishing and go-cart racing. Beloved son of Ronald W. Stewart and the late Alice (nee Brusnicki). Loving brother of Kim Digdo (Bill). Dear uncle of Kara and Billy Digdo. Cherished godson of Margaret Baranowksi. Also survived by several cousins and many friends. Ronald was a member of Carpenters Local 1050 Philadelphia. He was graduate of Highland High School Class of 1985 where most of his friends knew him as \”Pooh Bear\” and went on to attend Rutgers University in Camden. He was a captain of the Highland soccer team and played hockey for the Gladiators Club at The Coliseum in Voorhees and went on to play on several men’s leagues.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Thursday eve and from 10 to 11am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 11am Friday at the funeral home.

Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
