Mr. James T. Welsh Jr., of Gloucester City died on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the age of 82. James was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic class of 1951. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea from March 1954 to June 1955. James worked many years for NY Ship, NJ Zinc and Thermoseal.
Loving son of the late James T. Welsh, Sr. and Madeline C. (nee McGee). Loving brother of Kenneth Welsh. Predeceased by his sister, Jacquelyn O’Connor and brothers, Wayne Welsh and Patrick Welsh. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 PM and again on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester
City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment with U.S. Army Honors in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
