This full day of celebration, community, and pride — powered by local McDonald’s Owner/Operators and featuring dozens of performers, food trucks, and local partners!

Philadelphia, PA –   Philly Pride 365 proudly presents OURfest: National Coming OUT Day Parade & Festival, returning Saturday, October 12, 2025, for a full day of LGBTQIA+ visibility, celebration, and community connection throughout Center City Philadelphia. This year’s festival is made possible through the generous support of local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, who join an incredible coalition of community partners, sponsors, and neighborhood venues in uplifting Philadelphia’s vibrant LGBTQIA+ community.  This year’s theme, “Out Loud, Out Front: Power, Protection & Pride,” is a clarion call for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, and Queer communities to rise together in the face of rising anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, cultural attacks and political urgency. OURfest 2025 boldly centers queer people living and loving at the intersections, where joy becomes protest, and community becomes protection. This year’s festival will include family-friendly and community-led outdoor festival that runs from 12th to 13th streets, Locust to Spruce, and beyond, with main stage, youth and healing stages, queer art, drag and music showcases, kids and family programming, food trucks, vendors, community organizations, beer and cocktail gardens, and much more. Additionally, look for a new line-up of events leading up to the big festival, including WELL YES Marketplace on October 10th and Crankshaft on October 11th.  For more information on volunteering, participating, or sponsoring the festival, please visit our website, www.phillypride365.org/about-ourfest or email Pride365@PhillyPride365.org.

“OURfest is a celebration of self, solidarity, and showing up — together,” said Tyrell Brown, Founder and Executive Director of Philly Pride 365. “We’re proud to stand alongside our local McDonald’s Owner/Operators and so many others who invest in our communities year-round. Philly Pride 365 is about belonging, and OURfest is where that belonging comes to life.”

“Coming OUT in 2025 is still an act of resistance,” said Tyrell Brown, Founder & Executive Director of Philly Pride 365. “This year’s theme reminds us that we must show up for each other loudly, lead from the front, and take pride not just in who we are, but in how we care for and protect one another. OURfest is about reclaiming joy and amplifying our collective power.”

OURfest (OUR = Our Uniting Resilience) is a no charge, family-friendly celebration that uplifts the beauty and bravery of coming out, with a full day of programming rooted in culture, justice, and community healing. The event aims to mobilize LGBTQ+ communities while affirming the richness of queer life beyond politics.

OURFEST: NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY FESTIVAL

OURfest continues to make history as one of the largest festivals in the world dedicated and inspired by National Coming Out Day. Philadelphia is a city of historic firsts – and the organization that broke records in June for “largest Gay Pride march and festival in Philadelphia history” and “largest Gay Pride Flag in Pennsylvania history” is ready to continue its legacy of going bigger, better, more inclusive – with more love, solidarity and fun than ever before.

This year’s OURfest theme “Out Loud, Out Front: Power, Protection & Pride,” calls for bold visibility, fierce community care and unapologetic pride in the face of political adversity. In a time when queer and trans people, especially youth and Black and Brown LGBTQ+ individuals, are under attack across the country, OURfest calls us to live and lead with boldness. Coming OUT is still a political act. This year’s theme reflects the urgency of being visible, being vocal and standing on the frontlines for each other’s safety and rights.

POWER = community control, creative expression, and political voice
PROTECTION = creating networks of mutual care, resistance to hate, and systems that affirm LGBTQ+ safety and belonging
PRIDE = not just a party – it’s a declaration of survival, celebration, and legacy

OURfest: National Coming Out Festival will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, with resource fair and family zone from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, and last call for mobile bars/food trucks at 6:30pm. The festival will spread out across the Gayborhood from 13th and Walnut down to 13th and Pine, from Locust to 12th, then from there to 12th and Pine, with other select roads closed around the festival footprint.

This year’s resource fair and street festival will feature art and music from the community, in a celebration that combines the uniqueness of Philadelphia and showcases the diverse talents of Philadelphia’s LGBTQIA family, friends, and neighbors.

The vibrant location of the Gayborhood, the stronghold of Philadelphia’s LGBTQ community, provides a historic backdrop for 200+ grassroots organizations, CBO’s, charities, artists and makers, entertainers, restaurants and bars, food trucks, vendors and small businesses to provide innovative programming, dynamic structure, community resources, education, food and drink and family fun.

Festival and event highlights:

OURfest Soul Salon Stage: “OUR Rhythm, OUR Blues”

At the heart of OURfest, the OUR Rhythm, OUR Blues Stage brings soul to the streets with a powerful lineup of queer R&B artists delivering raw vocals, deep grooves, and emotional truth. Centering queer and trans artists of color, this stage celebrates the roots of rhythm and blues –  grounded in Black artistry, queer expression, and the sounds that have always carried us through joy, pain, and liberation. All-day showcase; no charge and open to all.

OURfest Variety Stage

Located at the center of OURfest  – St. Luke’s (13th Street between Pine & Spruce) – the OURfest MainStage is where pride meets performance and community takes center stage. All day long, expect electrifying live music and DJs, iconic drag and ballroom moments, community voices, special guest appearances, and nonstop energy. This is the stage where we show up, show out, and shine together. Come loud. Come proud. Come home. No charge and all ages.

OUR Festival/Resource Fair

Youth, Young Adult, and Family Programming will be alcohol and smoke-f ree and will feature age-appropriate and safe youth and family programming to celebrate all generations of Philadelphia Pride. Look for bounce houses, resources tabling, Drag Story Time, youth performers, dancing and fun.

Food Trucks

This year’s festival continues with unique food and beverage experiences. The Food Truck Market, in partnership with The Food Truck Lady, will bring together some of the East Coast’s best and tastiest food trucks and mobile vendors to keep everyone happy and fed while they  enjoy the day’s celebration. This area will create a buffer between the party goers and youth/sober areas – and offer food and drink at a variety of price points.

Beer and Cocktail Gardens

For those looking to party and dance the afternoon away you will be able to enjoy one of the (L.U.V. Philly) three Beer and Cocktail Gardens. The “Legends” Garden will be located on 13th street, St James, and Chancellor. Within the Legends Garden you will find gayborhood favorites such as Woody’s and Franky Bradleys. The “Unity” Garden will be located on Camac street, and parts of 12 street and small side streets. This Garden will include popular establishments such as UBar, TOC, BarX, and 254. The “Vice” Garden will be located on Quince street and parts of Locust, and will include Knock and The Bike Stop. Top Dog Cocktails will be represented this year in all of the beer and cocktail gardens.

** Please note that all beer gardens are 21+ with no admittance for anyone under the age of 21. Additionally for this festival alcohol will not be able to be consumed outside of the garden enclosures and is prohibited. We are asking that all large bags (book bags, etc) remain home or, in your vehicle, and not be brought to the festival grounds. These items will be prohibited in the garden spaces. This is not a BYO event.

Entry into the gardens can be obtained in a few different ways. You can enter for no charge by engaging with a wellness initiative and obtaining an MPox vaccination or by receiving a wristband from getting a rapid HIV test, (Mazzoni, Bebashi, etc.) the day of the festival. There you will receive a 21+ wristband with proof of ID. You will still be required to show proof of age at the entrance to any space that serves alcohol. Your wristband will function as a universal wristband allowing you to exit and enter all three gardens as long as all beverages are consumed before leaving or entering a beer garden space.

Sober Vibes

Sober Vibes will be a space that centers around adults who do not drink alcohol, and simultaneously is not geared towards family and children, however, they will be welcome in the space.

Decompression Zone

The Decompression Zone is a space for attendees seeking an accessible, low-sensory respite from festivities. This area will feature comfortable seating, tables, accessible bathrooms, a cooling station, a wheelchair charging station, adult changing station and low level music. This provides a space for elders, those living with disabilities and others seeking rest and relaxation during the event.

With each of these events, Philly Pride 365 continues to honor the spirit of National Coming OUT Day by creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ people can gather, heal, and thrive – out loud and out front.

Please stay tuned for a full list of vendors, food trucks, entertainment times, stage line-ups and more coming the week of the event.
