CAMDEN — Deputy Fire Chief David Yates has been named acting head of the department, Mayor Dana Redd said Tuesday. The 25-year veteran replaces Interim Chief Thomas Quinn.Quinn resigned via e-mail effective Monday, Redd said. The Gloucester City resident was chief for six months.
