WASHINGTON, Pa. (October 20, 2012) – Junior Marguerite Chavez (Oceanport, N.J.) and freshman Dailyn Brook (Cherry Hill, N.J.) each had four points as the Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team clinched the No. 1 seed in the Empire 8 Championship with a 4-2 win at Washington & Jefferson College Saturday morning. The Ducks improved to 7-0 in the Empire 8 and 11-6 overall with the victory.
