Gloucester County EMS Celebrates 5th Year Anniversary

 

System-wide average response time remains under 6 minutes

 

(Clayton, NJ) – Since Gloucester County Emergency Medical Services (GCEMS) officially initiated services on September 30, 2007 they have responded to more than 74,000 calls. 

 

\”What we started in 2007 was groundbreaking in New Jersey. GCEMS currently has a fleet of 22 ambulances and multiple support vehicles. We have 200 dedicated staff members responding from eleven EMS stations. Our ten crews operate around the clock and we add two additional crews at peak times,\” stated Freeholder Director Robert Damminger.
