Vernona \” Nonie\”

On January 22, 2013 (nee Shute) of Deptford, NJ, age 63. She is the beloved wife of Joseph E. Shapley, loving mother of Colleen Gervasi (Joel), Joseph S. (Dawn), Kevin T. (Nicole), and Jeremy A. Shapley. She is the loving daughter of Vernona and the late George Shute and dear sister of George Shute III. Nonie is also the loving and devoted grandmother of Joseph B. Shapley, Eryn Gervasi, Jessica Shapley, Ryan Gervasi, Katelyn Shapley, Jacob Shapley, Nicholas Gervasi and Kamryn Shapley. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial with Committal on Saturday, 10:30 AM, at Christ Episcopal Church, 63 Delaware St., Woodbury, NJ. In lieu of flowers Nonie’s family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Brooklawn Legion Baseball, c/o Dennis Barth, 503 Rte 130, Brooklawn, NJ 08030. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ.
