Happy New Year from the Freeholder Board

The Camden County Freeholder Board has embarked on a variety of big initiatives in 2012. We’ve made prudent investments in our community and continue to move forward on a bold plan to enhance public safety for our residents. Moving into 2013, I’d like to reflect on some of the accomplishments we’ve made in the past year. Below are some highlights:

Overhauling the Camden County park system

In 2012, the Freeholder Board created a 21st century vision for the 2,200 acres of the Camden County Park System. The largest changes are coming to Cooper River Park, an international destination for rowing competition. The park will receive a full facelift that will create a new sense of place for the focal point of our park system. In addition, several other parks have been overhauled and had new investments this year.
