Fair powers Raptors to sweep

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (March 20, 2013) – The spring break trip to the Snowbird Invitational is becoming a fun journey for the Rutgers University-Camden softball team.

The Scarlet Raptors raised their record to 5-0 on their trip to Myrtle Beach as they swept the University of Minnesota-Morris, 8-0 and 3-1, here Wednesday. The first game ended after five innings due to the eight-run rule.

Rutgers-Camden improved to 8-3, extending its winning streak to five games. The Scarlet Raptors also have won six of their last seven contests.

Minnesota-Morris falls to 2-6.
