MAYS LANDING – An Egg Harbor Township man pled guilty today in connection with the 2013 killing of a Pleasantville man found shot dead inside of a motel room, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
Randall C. Scott, 22, of the 2500 block of Tilton Road, Egg Harbor Township, pled guilty to aggravated manslaughter today before Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Michael A. Donio for the shooting death in October 2013, of Curtis Watson, 20, of Pleasantville.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to the Courtesy Inn Motel, 2580 Tilton Road, for a 9-1-1 report of shots fired.
Upon arrival on scene, Egg Harbor Township Police and Atlantic County SWAT locked down the shooting scene, and conducted a search.
Curtis Watson, 20, of Pleasantville, was found inside a motel room, dead of gunshot wounds.
An investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department led to the arrest at the scene of Randall Scott, then 20-years-old.
