REP. NORCROSS COMMENTS ON SUPREME COURT\’S MARRIAGE EQUALITY RULING

Washington, DC – Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ01) issued the following statement today in reaction to today’s Supreme Court decision in which the Court affirmed that the Constitution guarantees a nationwide right to same-sex marriage.

\”Today the Supreme Court affirmed the rights of countless numbers of our neighbors, family and friends. I am proud to know that in America, all those in committed, loving relationships, regardless of their sexual orientation, have equal rights. As today’s ruling states, these couples have simply asked for equal dignity in the eyes of the law, and our nation’s Constitution grants them that right.\”
