Ted passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. A resident of Woolwich Twp., NJ and formerly of Collingswood, NJ, he was 84.
Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Patricia Schuehler (nee Blakney). Loving father of Glen (Karen), Brian (Kim) and Craig. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Jamie (Stephen) McNamara, Kyle (Inyoung) Stoy, Andrew (Madeline) Schuehler, Kurt Schuehler, Kelly (Reed) Sutliff, Brianna (Brad) Kline and Mark (Shelby) Schuehler, 7 great grandchildren and 5 nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, R. Raymond and Mildred Schuehler, his brother, Raymond Schuehler and sister-in-law, Susan Schuehler.
Ted was a member of the Collingswood Fire Company Number 1 for 64 years and was a life member. He worked his way through the ranks and was the Chief of the fire company for many years. His three boys also volunteered with their father in Collingswood. He began in the fire service as a junior fire fighter at the Westmont Fire Company and volunteered shortly at the Woolwich Fire Company at the end of his career.
Ted graduated from Camden County College with a degree in fire technology and worked for Pepsi-Cola Co. in Pennsauken for 35 years where he was a driver salesman.
Ted was an avid sports fan and spent his free time coaching many sports teams that his sons were involved in. He coached the Oaklyn Cougars for 15 years and had the pleasure of coaching with his three sons.
Ted, like his father, was also a Mason and member of Collingswood Cloud Lodge No. 101 F & AM.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, November 19, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment private.
