(Lindenwold, NJ) – Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of February 23 to February 27.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Berlin Township
South Jersey Gas will be working on Hopewell Road and Cooper Road from Monday, February 23 to Thursday, February 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Hopewell Road between Cooper Road & Jackson Road in Waterford Township and a full road closure of Cooper Road at the intersection with Taunton Avenue in Berlin Township.
Camden
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a lane shift between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard & Cooper Plaza.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue.
Collingswood
- PSE&G will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, February 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound and a sidewalk closure between Lincoln Avenue & East Collings Avenue.
- Crews will be working on Park Avenue from Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Dill Avenue & Ogden Avenue.
Pine Hill
Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue from Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Burnt Mill Road & Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
Voorhees
Crews will be working on White Horse Road from Wednesday, February 25 to Friday, February 27 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure eastbound between Blackwood-Clementon Road & Erial Road.
Waterford Township

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
