Jefferson employees celebrating as a community at a pep rally before the Eagles kick off their 2025-26 season against the Washington Commanders.

BACKGROUND: Less than a week before the Philadelphia Eagles embark upon their quest to win a third Super Bowl title, Jefferson colleagues will kick off the season and launch community engagement efforts at a festive “Breakfast with the Birds” event.
“Breakfast With The Birds” will feature special guest appearances, rally towels for the employees in attendance and the debut of a brand-new Jefferson Health x Eagles commercial featuring “Champions of Care” Ambassador Saquon Barkley. This event is part of Eagles Spirit Week during which Jefferson employees are encouraged to wear Eagles shirts or jerseys and “share a photo of yourself, your team, or even your pet in Eagles gear.”
In July, Jefferson Health proudly announced that Philadelphia Eagles superstar Barkley will serve as its new ambassador – joining Brandon Graham in that role – and make community appearances throughout the year on behalf of Jefferson. Jefferson also recently expanded a multi-year partnership with the Eagles in which includes naming rights to the Jefferson Health Training Complex (the team’s South Philadelphia practice facility), teaming up to foster cancer-screening awareness throughout the community during the season, and serving as the patch sponsor of the team’s practice jerseys.
Similar events will take place throughout the week at Jefferson University Hospitals in Center City, Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital and Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Go Birds!
