Ralph Sullivan Jr., WWII vet, of Gloucester City

SULLIVAN, RALPH JOSEPH, JR.
Suddenly, on October 2, 2007, age 88 years, of Gloucester City.
Beloved husband of the late Beatrice F. (nee Nacey). Adored father of Bunny Bailey (John) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Patricia Probst (John) of Cherry Hill,Kathy Watson (Jim) of North Wales, PA, Margie Sullivan of Gloucester City and Susan Lyons (Jerry) of Sewell. Grandfather of Jennifer Probst, Jim and Jeffrey Watson, Vanessa and Mark Sullivan, and Erin, Jerome and Christopher Lyons. Loving brother of Mabel (Martin) Passeri and Marion (the late Isadore) Cantera, and the late James (Patricia) Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Edna Jeffers of Glassboro. Edna was dad\’s healthcare aide for over a year and took special care of dad until his last days.
Ralph was a World War II veteran serving with the US Navy where he was awarded the American Theater and Victory Medals and was a member of St. Mary\’s Parish for 65 years. Ralph was an avid fisherman and loved ballroom dancing with his wife Bea. He was fond of walking, being outdoors and casino bus trips. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends of the family may call Saturday, 10:00am-12:00noon at St. Mary\’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00noon. Interment New St. Mary\’s Cem., Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Mary\’s Church at the above address. Arr. by the EVOY-BANASZ FUNERAL HOME, Haddon Heights.
