Standard Tap Sausage Fest

The nights are getting longer, the air is getting cooler, and the corner of 2nd and Poplar is once again lit by the playful glow of dancing neon sausage in the window. Standard Tap, the Northern Liberties corner tavern widely credited as Philadelphia’s first gastropub, will host its annual Sausage Fest from September 24th to October 4th at 901 N. 2nd Street, serving a ten-sausage menu spanning Portugal, China, Scotland, Thailand, Germany, France, Morocco, the Chesapeake and Philadelphia itself, all made in house and all paired with a rotating list of local festbier and German-style drafts.

Event Take Over Fishtown for Fall Festival and Oktoberfest Season

Philadelphia, PA – Fall and family fun are in the air in Fishtown! This September, look for four major events, festivals and block parties set to take over one of Philadelphia’s hottest neighborhoods. First up, get ready to raise a glass at the 15th Annual Frankford Hall Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, on the 1200 Block of Frankford Avenue. Look for live music by the Polka Brothers, dancing in the street, great German beer, pretzels, sausages, decorations and more. For families, come out and enjoy Fishtown Oktoberfest Family Funfest by Fishtown District on Saturday, September 19th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, on Frankford Avenue, between Thompson and Master Streets. Look for face painting, vendors, balloon artists, nine-hole open-air mini golf, pop-up a-shot basketball, outdoor games, makers, artists and more.

South Philly 100 Year Old Italian Festival Returns

Philadelphia, PA – South Philadelphia will be a sea of red, white and green as a beloved tradition with roots back to the early 1900s returns to South Philadelphia. The Annual St. Nicholas of Tolentine Authentic Italian Festival will bring out thousands of people on Sunday, October 4th, to the 1700 Block of South 9th Street, from 12 Noon to 8:00pm. One of the largest authentic Italian festivals of the year is back and starts with the annual religious procession throughout the neighborhood with a long line of the Statues of Saints and their faithful following.
