Brauhaus Schmitz Maifest Spring Festival Takes Over South Street

Philadelphia, PA – Brauhaus Schmitz presents the 13th Annual Maifest spring festival and block party on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Philadelphia’s premiere German restaurant and beer hall will close down South Street at the 700 block for an all day, all ages celebration that will feature authentic German culture, live music, delicious food, and of course, plenty of German beer! The festivities will include Pennsylvania’s largest Maypole, performances by Die Heimatklange Band and United German Hungarian Dance group, Liter Lift Competition, Pig Roast, face painting, flower crowns, keg tapping, games and fun for the whole family.
