Upper Deerfield Township, N.J. –Troopers from the Bridgton Station on Tuesday, November 4, arrested a man for stealing $16,000 worth of copper and aluminum wiring from utility poles in Downe, Fairfield, and Upper Deerfield townships.

Troopers Justin Trudell and Justin Green had arrested Jule Sabatini, 59, of Fairton, in October for cutting down the copper wiring between two utility poles. At the time, Sabatini denied committing any similar thefts. 

Through various investigative means, the troopers obtained evidence of other wire thefts that matched Sabatini’s criminal pattern.

Sabatini was taken to Bridgeton Station where he was charged in connection with the theft of 64 spans of copper and aluminum wire.

He was lodged at the Cumberland County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

Farmingdale Boro, N.J. – The New Jersey State Police are seeking the public’s help locating the mother of a female infant whose remains were found by an employee moving trash at a recycling facility. On Tuesday, November 11, at approximately 1:30 p.m., troopers from Hamilton Station responded to ReCommunity Recycling facility on Railroad Avenue where they confirmed the discovery.

Washington, D.C.—Today, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a complaint against Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) with the Office of Congressional Ethics for accepting special benefits from Amazon in violation of the House ethics rules.

CREW’s complaint is based on a story in the New York Times, reporting that Rep. Ryan’s recent book, \”The Way Forward: Renewing the American Idea,\” published by Hachette, was afforded special treatment by Amazon.
