PAULSBORO NJ –The Gloucester County Prosecutor\’s Office and the Paulsboro Police Department are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in an apartment on Thompson Ave. in the borough about 6 p.m. tonight (11/14).

The body of the 26-year-old woman was found by a family member. She was last seen alive by a relative on Sunday (11/9). The cause of death has not been determined. It is presently considered a suspicious death. Investigators are awaiting an autopsy to be conducted by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner\’s Office around noon Saturday (11/15).

DOVER (Nov. 14, 2014) – After a night of rain and snow to the north, Friday’s opening day of Delaware’s shotgun deer season dawned cold and dry under clearing skies, drawing hopeful deer hunters from all over the state and from neighboring states as well. By mid-morning, hunters were returning to their trucks, many of them hauling their harvest, while others strapped portable tree stands to their backs and toted their shotguns out of the field with a spring in their step, anticipating another day when they too would bring home a trophy buck or venison to the table.

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife will offer a limited number of surplus adult Ring-necked Pheasants for public sale at its Rockport Pheasant Farm in Hackettstown, Warren County. The birds are being sold in an effort to help the Division\’s Pheasant Program operate self-sufficiently and to offer a unique game bird hunting opportunity to Garden State sportsmen and sportswomen by allowing individuals to purchase birds and release them in their own favorite hunting locations.

The outlook for this year\’s pheasant season in New Jersey is very bright, with 55,000 pheasants scheduled to be stocked on 25 state Wildlife Management Areas for Pheasant and Quail Stamp buyers. This is 5,000 more pheasants than our goal and represents the highest number of pheasants stocked in the past 6 years.

New York taxpayers are footing the bill for a massive $750-million SolarCity manufacturing plant with a promise that the company will spend $5 billion there on product and development, but when a local TV station tried to find out contract details, they were told it was confidential.
