Gloucester City Business Association Honors Deceased Member

Jim Ferry (photo on right) was an active member of the Gloucester City Business Association serving as a Board of Director and Sergeant-At-Arms. Jim was formerly a longtime member of the Gloucester City Chamber of Commerce.

He was also active in the Gloucester City Democrat Club, member of the Sportsmen A.C. in Gloucester City and a former member of the Gloucester City Jaycees. He was a retired member for 45 years of Teamsters Local 676 in Collingswood serving as vice-president.

Mr. Ferry was a member of the Deptford Elks Club since 1985. He was the owner of the defunct Ferry\’s Seafood Restaurant on Broadway in Gloucester City and the obsolete Ferry\’s Slip Inn in Brooklawn.

Jim passed away on August 28, 2006 at the age of 64.
